Dear Members,
We are beginning our fifth year as a Historical Society of Olmsted Falls.
We continue to grow slowly, but positively. Our programs continue to educate us on important past events in our town, and share histories of residents and events of historical interest.
Our display cases at city hall spotlight collections of many residents to the whole town and visitors. They have been interesting, educational and historical.
The fund raiser “the garage sale” was a great success, and contributed nicely to our treasury. This year, we are considering a silent auction.
A permanent home for us is still in our future. Meantime, we must remain visible by participating in town parades, taking part in community events and sharing our stories with others.
